At AV Scan Diagnostic Clinic, we provide a complete range of non-invasive tests for heart and lung health using advanced, hospital-grade equipment.

 

​2D Echocardiography (Adult & Paediatric)

Performed on our Philips Affiniti 70G ultrasound system, 2D Echo uses ultrasound to assess the structure and function of the heart.

• Detects valve diseases, congenital heart conditions, and cardiac function.

• Available for adults and children above 8 years of age.

• Performed by trained sonographers and reported by qualified cardiologists/radiologists.

 

ECG (Electrocardiogram)

Using our Mindray ECG system, we record the heart’s electrical activity to check for:

• Rhythm disturbances (arrhythmias)

• Heart strain, ischemia, or old infarcts

• Routine pre-operative cardiac evaluation

 

Treadmill Stress Test (TMT)

Our Schiller stress testing system evaluates how the heart responds to physical exertion.

• Identifies reduced blood flow (ischemia) not visible on resting ECG.

• Helps in risk assessment for coronary artery disease.

• Useful in monitoring exercise tolerance and treatment effectiveness.

 

Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)

PFT measures lung volumes and airflow, helping diagnose and monitor:

• Asthma and COPD

• Occupational lung diseases

• Pre-operative lung fitness

 

Results are interpreted alongside clinical findings to guide treatment.
